About Unika Brunnvägen

Unika Brunnvägen is a group home according to LSS person group 1, located in the idyllic town of Ulricehamn, close to forests and waterways. The property has 6 apartments and is a single-story building.

About the role of Support Assistant

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications

    • Very good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
    • Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
    • Experience in care and support work.
    • High school education, such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you also have

  • Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
  • Experience working with complex support needs.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Permanent   Working hours: 90-100% Working time: scheduled day/evening/weekend Start date: By agreement, we welcome candidates who can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
